THE TSA IS ALLOWING HEMP-DERIVED CBD ON FLIGHTS

Background

Yesterday, the TSA updated is stance on hemp-derived CBD products allowing passengers to bring them on flights.

It’s good to see common sense being used and the hempibition taking another step in the right direction.

I mean, what else could the TSA possibly say or do?

Hemp and its derivatives were made federally legal back in December.

Major chain stores like Walgreens and CVS are starting to sell CBD in their stores.

Merchant processing has pretty much come full circle and allowed sales to be made with normal rates.

The list goes on and on about CBD being everywhere.

The Official Stance Of The TSA

Officially, hemp-derived CBD is still not fully legal with the TSA, but they’ve decided just to let it go.

If they see it, they’ll just keep on moving on to the next thing.

In all honesty, the job of the TSA is to make sure the flight itself is safe.

It’s not their responsibility to become the DEA or become the moral police.

And since hemp-derived CBD is no longer on the controlled substances list, there’s no reason for the TSA to intervene.

What This Means For You When Traveling

In the past, we’ve talked about if you should take your CBD with you when you fly.

Now that we have clear rules, we can just relax.

Which is exactly what CBD does for us anyways… makes us relax.

In all honesty, I’ve probably traveled 5 times in the last year on flights and brought my CBD with me every time.

Never once did I get it taken away from me, let alone they never pulled my bag aside and pulled it out.

My bags just passed through every time without an issue.

Benefits Of Traveling With Your CBD

First and foremost, if you’re a fan of our blog and/or products, you’re more than likely into Crossfit or other high-intensity athletic programs.

When you travel, you’re still more likely to be very active and do cool stuff on trips.

Maybe you’ll do a bunch of hiking, or water sports, or whatever.

Or if you’re traveling for business, odds are you’re dropping into local boxes wherever you’re at.

Either way, what better way to work on your body recovery than with your CBD Oil.

Not to mention, CBD oil helps you sleep better, which is always a challenge when you’re not in the comfort of your own bed.

Make Sure You’re Stocked Up

It’s good to have an ample supply of CBD oil for all occasions.

I personally have bottles all around the house, in my gym bag, and in my car (just in case).

The worst thing you can do is get ready to travel and only have 1/3 of a bottle left, or less.

It’s good to stock up.
