HOW TO USE THE CALICURE CALLUS REMOVER

WOD Calicure 1000x500

The WOD Recovery Calicure Callus Remover is a 5 inch callus removing tool that helps keep your hands healthy from rips and tears.

If you do CrossFit or any other type of gymnastics on a regular basis, you understand how important it is to keep your hands healthy.

Not taking care of your hands, and allowing your calluses to build up is the single main reason athletes get rips during WODs, training sessions or competitions.

WHAT IS THE CALICURE CALLUS REMOVER MADE OF?

This amazing tool is a 5 inch piece of round plastic tubing with support caps on each end.

Specific grade sand paper is applied to the tube that is strong enough to break down your calluses, yet won’t break down any of your live skin.

Anyone that has used actual razor blades or callus shavers knows that one small slip or one cut too deep into your live skin hurts like hell.

You can avoid that with this tool, guaranteed!

HOW DO I USE THE CALLUS REMOVER?

Simply grab the tool at the base, or grab the entire tool with 2 fingers, end to end, if you have hands big enough and if that feels normal to you.

Either way is fine.

Apply pressure to your calluses, rub quickly back and forth, and keep going in different directions until your calluses are the same level as your live skin.

This should take just a minute or two.

You will experience a ‘sawdust effect’, which is totally normal. That lets you know you’re doing it right.

HOW CAN I CLEAN THE TOOL?

Cleaning the WOD Recovery Calicure Callus Remover is as simple as it gets. Just rinse off the tool in the sink with water, dry, and whalaaa… you’re done!

Hot or cold water doesn’t matter.

To be on the safe side, damp dry the tool before putting it back in your bag or wherever you keep your recovery tools, just so you don’t create any mold situations.

WHEN DO I REPLACE THE TOOL?

Honestly, this tool should last you a long time, but the sandpaper will eventually wear down and become less effective.

When this happens, it’s time to get a new one.

There are some tools where you spend a few hundred dollars, and maybe you use it once in awhile.

This is a tool that costs you just a few bucks, and you’ll get WAY MORE use out of it than the investment put out.

We actually keep a few of these handy in our gym bags and around the house.

WHAT ELSE CAN I USE TO ENHANCE THE HEALTH OF MY HANDS?

The next best thing you can do for your hand protection is to use our Repair Salve immediately after using the callus remover tool.

Wash your hands off with water to get rid of the ‘sawdust’, then generously apply the salve to the areas you worked on.

The salve is full of essential oils and ingredients that soften, smooth and heal your skin.

Plus, it smells great as our founder Hope made sure the smell would be warm and inviting.

We actually created a combo pack for both the callus remover and salve at a discount, which you can get here.
